  • RockCorps Limited ("RockCorps" "we" or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

    This Privacy Statement (together with the RockCorps Terms and Conditions of Use and any other documents referred to on it) ("Terms of Use") sets out the basis on which any personally identifiable information RockCorps collects from you, or that you provide to RockCorps ("Personal Data"), will be collected, processed, used and shared by RockCorps. Please read the following carefully to understand RockCorps' views and practices regarding Personal Data and how it will be treated.

    By using our website, rockcorps.co.uk (the "Site"), or by otherwise providing Personal Data to RockCorps, you are agreeing to the collection, processing, use, and sharing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Statement. If you do not consent to the collection, processing, use, and sharing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Statement, you may not use the Site

  • Children's Privacy

    The Site is not directed at nor targeted to children. RockCorps does not use the Site to knowingly solicit Personal Data from or market to children. If you are under the age of 13, do not provide us with any Personal Data. If we learn that someone under 13 has provided Personal Data, we will use reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases.

  • Use of your Personal Data

    RockCorps uses Personal Data held about you to:

    • provide you with information, events, promotions, services and/or products you have requested;
    • carry out obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with RockCorps;
    • notify you about changes (including updates) to information, events, promotions, services and/or products; and
    • operate the Site and ensure that content from the Site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

    RockCorps may contact you by electronic means (including email and text), post or telephone.

  • Direct Marketing by RockCorps:RockCorps may also use Personal Data provided by you during the registration process to provide you with information about events, promotions, services and/or goods which may be of interest to you. You may be contacted about these by email. If you do not want to receive such information from us please send an email to info@rockcorps.co.uk advising that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing from RockCorps. If you wish to receive this information from RockCorps via text please tick the relevant box situated on the registration form on which Personal Data is collected.

    Direct Marketing by third parties: RockCorps may also permit selected third parties (which may include our affiliates and sponsors) to use Personal Data provided by you during the registration process to provide you with information about their events, promotions, services and/or goods which may be of interest to you. You may be contacted about these by email. If you consent to this, please tick the relevant box situated on the registration form on which Personal Data is collected.

    RockCorps may provide aggregate information about users to companies interested in placing advertisements on the Site. RockCorps may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target. RockCorps may make use of Personal Data which have been collected from you to comply with advertisers' wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.

    Personal Data that RockCorps collects from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff, contractors or third parties operating outside the EEA who work for or provide services on behalf of RockCorps or one of RockCorps affiliates.     • sell or buy any business or assets, in which case RockCorps may disclose Personal Data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets and Personal Data held by RockCorps will be one of the transferred assets;
    • are under a duty to disclose or share Personal Data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply any agreements (including the Terms of Use); or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RockCorps, its customers, or others. This includes, without limitation, exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  • IP addresses, cookies and similar web technology

    RockCorps may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

    For the same reason, RockCorps may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using a cookie file or similar web technology which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. These web technologies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve the Site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us to estimate our audience size and usage pattern, store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise the Site according to your individual interests, to speed up your searches and to recognise you when you return to the Site.

  • Security of your Personal Data

    All Personal Data you provide to RockCorps is stored on secure servers and is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer encrypted protection.

    If you have been given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. RockCorps asks you not to share a password with anyone.

    Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although RockCorps will use strict procedures and security features to try to protect Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Data transmitted to the Site. Any transmission is at your own risk.

    Any changes RockCorps makes to this Privacy Statement will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. RockCorps encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Statement to be informed of how Personal Data is being protected.

    We respect your right to make choices about the ways we collect, use and disclose your Personal Data. We generally ask you to indicate your choices at the time and on the page where you provide your Personal Data. If you have created a profile by registering on the Site, you may update your choices, or modify any of your Personal Data, by logging in and updating your profile.

    In addition, legislation may give you the right to access Personal Data held about you. Any access request for information beyond what is stored in your online RockCorps account profile may be subject to payment of a fee to meet RockCorps costs in providing you with details of the Personal Data held about you.
